    Janine O'Connor, RN - New Beginnings

    Janine O’Connor is a Registered Nurse/ Certified School Nurse and Teacher of Health with more than 26 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Montclair State College and received her Diploma of Nursing from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in 1994. Janine has worked in a variety of settings including Medical/Surgical Charge Nurse, Community Nursing, Triage and Case Management, Medical Daycare, and Vaccination Clinics. She received her degree as a Certified School Nurse/Teacher of Health from Caldwell College in 2009 and has been with the Gramon Family of Schools for over 10 years. Janine is a valued member of her community as the Founder of The Little Falls Parents of Exceptional Children Parent’s Support Group and Big Brother/ Big Sister Mentoring Program for children with Spectrum Disorders and Disabilities.


    Natalie Pierro, RN - Glenview / Gramon

    Natalie Pierro has been a school nurse at Glenview Academy/Gramon School since 2018. She has over 25 years of nursing experience with the focus of school nursing since 2014. Prior to school nursing, she spent 16 years as a High-Risk Antepartum/L&D/Mother Baby Nurse at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Her experiences included direct patient care, collaborating with doctors, patient/family education as well as charge nurse responsibilities.  In addition to her work, she is pursuing her education with the goal of achieving her New Jersey School Nurse Certification as well as a Master’s Degree in Nursing.  Nurse Natalie is committed to achieving the optimal health and safety of all of the students in her care at The Gramon Family of Schools. She has an open-door policy with her students and their families so please feel free to contact her with any questions or concerns you may have. 



    Erica Sperandeo, BSN, RN, CSN-NJ - Glenview / Gramon / New Beginnings

    Erica Sperandeo has been a school nurse at Glenview Academy/Gramon School and New Beginnings School since 2020. She graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY with her Bachelor’s Degree in 2017. She started her career as a Medical/Surgical Nurse at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, NJ. Shortly after working as a floor nurse, she became the Charge Nurse of the floor. In addition to carrying out nursing tasks, she was responsible for supervising the nursing staff, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring that the unit ran efficiently as per standards and regulations. She was awarded the Laraja Foundation Professional Practice Award in 2019 for her commitment to quality patient care delivered with compassion. Nurse Erica is a NJ Certified School nurse and is currently continuing her education in the Masters in Science Nursing program at William Paterson University. Her goal is to support education by promoting health and wellness and maintain open communication with both students and their families.
