HEALTH GUIDELINES ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Please keep these guidelines in a safe place and refer to them if your child becomes ill.

Keep your child home to rest and/or seek medical attention if he/she has:

·       Temperature of 100°F in the last 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication)

·       Vomiting or Diarrhea in the last 24 hours

·       Runny nose that is excessive and/or not clear in color

·       Persistent cough that could be disruptive to the class

·       Redness and/or discharge from the eyes, crusting in eyelashes

·       Contagious skin rashes/impetigo or uncovered draining wounds

·       Strep throat & pink eye (return to school 24 hours after antibiotic treatment begins)

·       Contagious disease (Influenza, Covid-19, Chicken Pox, Mononucleosis, Fifths Disease)

·       Emergency Room/Hospital visit (can return to school with a copy of discharge paperwork)

If your child will be absent due to medical reasons, please make sure your school nurse is aware. The health and safety of our students remains our priority, and we appreciate your cooperation with the guidelines listed above.
